WHEN SHOULD I PURCHASE E-RECRUITMENT SOFTWARE?
This is a question we are often asked: “when is the right time to move over to e-Recruitment software”
Several criteria should be considered:
The first and most important one is your volume of annual recruitments. We consider that from 10- to 12 recruitments per year, you will get real gains in productivity compared with office tools such as Outlook, Excel etc.
These gains concern administrative tasks in particular :
- acknowledging receipt of candidate applications,
- classification and sorting of candidate applications,
- logging of actions undertaken,
- following-up on reminders,
- transferring CVs to your customers,
- reporting, etc.
Many functions are now automated in e-Recruitment software to help you save time and simplify your recruitment process.
The second criterion is to have a minimum of 50% candidate applications by email. Even if internet has overtaken television in terms of audience, in some sectors of activity , paper candidate applications are still very common. For them to be integrated into the recruitment solutions, they must be scanned and downloaded, something which takes a bit longer than email candidate applications that which are integrated and classified automatically.
Finally, the third criterion is the number of people involved in your recruitment process. It will be much easier and more efficient to work with a collaborative tool to monitor your applicants at each stage of your process and to share information among your teams.
